About the Role:
Join a leading Specialist Accounting & Wealth firm
This is a unique, mixed role in in Accounting, ideal for professionals from Tax/Business Services. If you're ready to expand your skill set, this could be the perfect next step for your career.
What You’ll Bring:
- Degree qualified
- Completed or part-way through CA/CPA studies
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Tax or Business Services within an accounting firm
- A keen desire to move into commercial accounting
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude with high attention to detail
- A supportive and vibrant team with excellent mentoring and training
- No timesheets or tax returns – focus on growth and hands-on accounting experience!
- A healthy work-life balance with minimal overtime
- Opportunities for career advancement in a dynamic environment
- Regular rewards and recognition for your contributions
- Month-end and year-end duties
- Debtors and banking reconciliations
- Monthly BAS preparation
- Budgeting and cash flow management
- Investment reporting
- Liaising with external accountants on compliance matters.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns. Ensure all filings meet regulatory requirements.
- Tax Research & Analysis: Conduct research on complex tax issues, staying up to date with new tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice.
