About You

Ideally you will have at least 1 year of experience working in the public practice accounting sector. You will also be/have:

A positive and proactive approach to work.
High attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Able to effectively utilise the ATO and ASIC portals
Experience with Xero software.
Experience working as part of a team.
Full working rights in Australia.

The Role

As a Team Assistant, it will be your responsibility to handle all administration duties on behalf of a team of Accountants. Your duties will include:

Preparing & collating information for financial statements & tax returns
Responding efficiently to customer queries
Liaising with clients on behalf of the accountants
Preparing for & scheduling client meetings
Liaising with ASIC & the ATO
Be a point of contact for clients and develop client relationships
Ad hoc administration duties
