Ben specialises in recruitment across the Financial Services industry. He completed a Bachelor of Business (Economics & Finance) at QUT, graduating in 2015. Since then, Ben has worked for 4 years in an ASX listed and industry leading Banking and Financial Services company. He had exposure to multiple different teams and roles, but most recently worked in the company’s Private Bank business.
Ben draws on his industry experience to provide first hand advice on our roles and vacancies, while his easy going and friendly nature cultivates strong, long-lasting relationships.

The business provides personal financial advice to a client base of predominantly high net wealth individuals and families. There is an exciting opportunity for a financial adviser to join their Canberra team. This position is well suited for an experienced adviser that is able to take on a team leader role and provide guidance and mentorship to a team of advisers and support staff. The ideal candidate has a book of existing clients that they can bring to this role. If not, you will have existing referral relationships and a proven track record of onboarding new clients and developing a client base. This is a growth focused role. This opportunity is perfect for someone who has completed their studies and Professional Year, and is looking to develop their career in financial advice. About You: Proven experience as a Mortgage Broker, 5+ years. Strong residential lending experience, additional experience in commercial, equipment finance and SMSF lending will be favourable. In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, lending policies, and a range of different banks/lenders. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and key stakeholders. A client-first attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and advice. Excellent time management and organizational skills. A proactive approach to business development and client relationship management. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV/Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking). Interested in equity and a leadership position.
