About the Opportunity:

We are partnered with a well-established professional services firm with offices across Brisbane, Gold Coast, and interstate to find a talented associate adviser for their Gold Coast office. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring financial adviser to join a collaborative and client-focused team, supporting senior advisers and working on a wide range of financial planning strategies.

As an associate adviser, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial plans, conducting research, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. You will work closely with senior advisers to help clients navigate their financial goals while developing your skills in the financial advice industry.

• Attend client meetings alongside Director
• Develop advice strategies 
• Assist in the preparation of comprehensive financial plans and advice documents
• Conduct research and analysis to assess clients’ financial situations
• Liaise with paraplanning and admin support 
• Foster and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service

• Completed or studying FASEA approved degree 
• 2+ years previous experience in a paraplanner or associate adviser role within a financial planning firm 
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Keen to complete your Professional Year and become a financial adviser
