OUR CLIENT
Our client is a fast-paced accounting firm, located in Brisbane’s city fringe. They are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join them on a permanent basis! They are looking for an enthusiastic and professional team member who is accustomed to managing a portfolio of clients.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on role in which you would have that autonomy to manage client relationships. You will be well suited to this position if you are someone who has a passion for assisting clients to achieve the most out of their business. Responsibilities will include:

Undertaking a full function bookkeeping duties for clients including:

AP
AR
Reconciliations
BAS preparation
IAS preparation
Payroll
Completing year end processes

Managing workflow and meeting deadlines.
Providing training to clients on software and converting to new package if required.
Managing client relationships both online and face to face.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Ideally you will have at least 2 years’ experience working in a public practice accounting firm undertaking a similar role. You will also possess the following:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
You'll be a team player.
The ability to work autonomously & as part of a team with the ability to take personal ownership.
The ability to develop rapport with clients .
Experience using Xero.
