Key Responsibilities: Client Portfolio Management
- Oversee a portfolio of clients with a fee base ranging between $820,000 and $900,000, consisting of high-value clients such as large property investors, SME property investors, companies, trusts, super funds, and small businesses with turnovers of up to $2 million.
- Deliver strategic tax and business advice to clients across various industries, ensuring all needs are met effectively and professionally.
- Lead and manage a team of 3-4 accountants at different levels. You will be actively involved in the recruitment process, conducting interviews, and selecting the right candidates to join the team.

- Foster a supportive and empowering work environment, guiding your team members to success and helping them grow within the firm.
- Provide expert advice on a range of matters including tax minimization strategies, capital gains tax (CGT), retirement and succession planning, business restructuring, and preparing businesses for sale.
- Hold regular client meetings (both electronically and face-to-face) to discuss their business and financial goals, ensuring that all services are delivered in line with their needs.
- Develop long-term relationships with clients, becoming their trusted advisor for all financial and tax matters.
Ideal Candidate: Experience and Skills
- Ideally 5+ years of experience in Australian Tax, Business Services, and Advisory. You should have a proven track record of managing a diverse portfolio of clients and providing high-quality advisory services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide clear, concise advice.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience mentoring and developing junior staff.
- A client-centric mindset, with a passion for helping clients navigate complex financial matters.
- Ability to manage client expectations and provide exceptional service consistently.
- Enjoy the benefit of working from home 3 days a week, with a minimum of 2 days spent in the office. Flexible start and finish times are available to suit your personal and professional needs.
- Be rewarded for your team’s success with a financial bonus structure based on team performance and financial achievements.
- On-the-job training and access to seminars to keep your skills sharp and up to date. We also encourage and support external training opportunities, with financial backing provided for professional courses and certifications (within reason).
- CA/CPA study leave support (5 days per year) to assist with your professional growth.
- Work in a vibrant, open-plan office environment with a supportive and social team. We encourage team collaboration and regularly host social events to foster a positive work culture.
- Join a firm that places a strong emphasis on trust and empowerment, allowing you to manage your clients and team in a way that best suits your style, while adhering to reasonable guidelines.
The office is conveniently located near public transport, with a train station directly across the street. We also offer on-site parking for Client Managers, making commuting hassle-free.
