Exciting Opportunity: Financial Accountant for a Growing IT Company

A highly successful, locally owned, IT company is looking to expand its finance team. We have a new opening for a Financial/ Management Accountant to work closely with the Director and support the business's continued success.

This IT company has retail/corporate services/managed services and a team of 100 staff locally.

The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to improving accounting procedures and policies, to enhance team efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director, and working with an in-house accountant/ Finance Manager, and an assistant accounts person within the Finance team
Be part of the finance team responsible for end of month duties (profit and loss statements and balance sheets), and providing financial information to the Director
Review of key account reconciliations (debtors, creditors, and inventory)
Monthly journals and reconciliations
Cashflow, budgets, forecasts
Providing information to auditors, and initiating internal audits where required to streamline processes

About You:

Ideally, you are CA/CPA qualified
Experienced with SAP Business One
You have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with the different business teams
You are driven to make a positive impact on internal processes and procedures
