Part-time Senior Accountant

Work within a flat structure for a small accounting firm with a great reputation and high quality clients, be responsible and accountable for your own client portfolio.

This is a hybrid position.

Duties will include:

• A mix of SMSF and SME business clients (training can be provided in SMSF work)
• Full process from meeting with the client through to financial statements and tax returns, tax planning and advisory
• The role is estimated to have 60% compliance and 40% advisory 

• Work close to home with free parking on site
• A genuine part-time role seeking 3-4 days per week or 4-5 days “school hours”

• Degree qualified, you DON'T have to have professional qualifications to qualify
• Training in the advisory space and SMSF if required

• Degree plus experience an Australian accounting firm in business services and preferably SMSF exposure.
• Willingness to work independently and manage a client portfolio
• Solid experience at compliance level, training provided in advisory capacity
