Senior Bookkeeper

Our client is a successful CBD firm which is continuing to experience continued growth both here in Australia and within it's overseas offices.  Due to this growth, an opportunity has become available for a career focused bookkeeper to join the division. Working directly with the Bookkeeping Manager, our client offers a long term career path.

The Opportunity
Working in the bookkeeping division, you will be responsible for providing a full function bookkeeping service to your portfolio of clients.  You will also be responsible for monitoring the work of junior staff members. You will be managing your own portfolio and and specifically be responsible for the following tasks:

- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Preparation of BAS
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing of invoices
- Processing of payroll
- Processing of superannuation

About You
In order to be considered for the role, it is essential that you have the following:

- Experience in providing full function bookkeeping service to multiple clients
- Experience in successfully managing a diverse client portfolio
- Experience in dealing directly with clients and assisting them as necessary
- Experience in training clients on software would be an advantage
- A demonstrated history in working as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- A high attention to detail

Ideally, you will have recent experience working in the public practice accounting sector.
