Senior Financial Accountant "First step out of practice"

This is a very unique opportunity for an ambitious candidate to make the transition from a public practice role (Business Services/Tax) into the commercial accounting world! 

Training and mentoring will be provided to a candidate that presents with the following skill set:

• CA/CPA qualified

• At least 5 years' experience in Tax/Business Services 

• Ambition to make the transition into commercial accounting 

• Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a high attention to detail

• Experience with XERO

What does the role involve? 

The role will be varied and have a good mix of accounting duties including: 

• Monthly financials for 20 plus entities

• Preparation of year end workpapers

• Monthly BAS/IAS

• Assisting with Budgeting and cashflow

• Payroll for 60 staff

• Liaising with tax accountants on compliance matters
