The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate Accountant / Bookkeeper to join a boutique accounting firm located just 10 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD.
This firm is renowned for its professional delivery and long-standing relationships with clients. As a valued team member, you will have the chance to work on a diverse range of accounting and bookkeeping duties, delivering high-quality service to clients across various industries.
This role offers the flexibility of full-time, school hours, or part-time (3–4 days per week), ensuring you can achieve the work-life balance you’ve been seeking. About You: We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:
2+ years of experience in Australian public practice accounting or bookkeeping
Proficiency in preparing tax returns for business clients and financial statements
Experience with Xero and XPM (MYOB AE experience is an advantage)
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and the team
Key Responsibilities: As part of the team, your duties will include:
Preparation of Financial Statements, Tax Returns, BAS, IAS, Payment Summary Statements, and other compliance-related tasks
Working closely with the Partner and team to meet client needs and deliver high-quality service
Managing multiple client accounts and ensuring timely and accurate completion of all assignments
