About the role
Due to growth, our client is recruiting for a capable and enthusiastic Client Manager to join their property team.
In this role, you will manage a team of 3-4 Accountants whilst overseeing a client portfolio with a fee base of between $820,000 - $900,000. The portfolio largely consists of large property investors, SME property investors, companies, trusts, and small businesses with turnovers up to $2 million.

About the role

In this role, you will manage a team of 3-4 Accountants whilst overseeing a client portfolio with a fee base of between $820,000 - $900,000. The portfolio largely consists of large property investors, SME property investors, companies, trusts, and small businesses with turnovers up to $2 million.
Your duties and responsibilities for the role include:
- Managing a client portfolio with a fee base of $820,000 - $900,000.
- Overseeing a team of 3-4 accountants, handling recruitment, appraisals, workflow, and training.
- Meeting with clients to advise on tax minimisation, CGT, tax planning, retirement, succession planning, business restructuring, and preparing businesses for sale.
- Regularly updating clients and building strong professional relationships to not only meet but exceed client expectations.
- 5+ years of experience in Australian Tax and Business Services
- Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement)
- Advisory experience within a public practice firm
- Proven ability to manage a team of accountants
- Extensive client management skills
- Experience with property investments (desired but not required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
