About the role

Due to growth, our client is recruiting for a capable and enthusiastic Client Manager to join their property team.

In this role, you will manage a team of 3-4 Accountants whilst overseeing a client portfolio with a fee base of between $820,000 - $900,000. The portfolio largely consists of large property investors, SME property investors, companies, trusts, and small businesses with turnovers up to $2 million.

Your duties and responsibilities for the role include:

Managing a client portfolio with a fee base of $820,000 - $900,000.
Overseeing a team of 3-4 accountants, handling recruitment, appraisals, workflow, and training.
Meeting with clients to advise on tax minimisation, CGT, tax planning, retirement, succession planning, business restructuring, and preparing businesses for sale.
Regularly updating clients and building strong professional relationships to not only meet but exceed client expectations.

About you

5+ years of experience in Australian Tax and Business Services
Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement)
Advisory experience within a public practice firm
Proven ability to manage a team of accountants
Extensive client management skills
Experience with property investments (desired but not required)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
