The Opportunity

Our client is a Brisbane mid-tier firm seeking an experienced External Audit Senior Manager to join the team.

They have a relaxed environment and an open door policy which gives you direct access to the two audit partners.

Your responsibilities include:

Managing audit engagements with not-for-profit and trade unions.
Assist with planning, execution and scheduling staff
Address technical issues and assist in preparing position papers
Preparation of financial statements in accordance with AASB and IFRS
Management and mentoring of 4 staff on-site and 4 offshore team members
Liaise with clients, and manage these relationships.

Required Skills & Experience:

The firm is seeking a motivated and proactive auditor who has proven, Australian audit experience. You will ideally also:

Have 2+ years working at Manager level within a public practice firm
Enjoy a team focused environment
Have enthusiasm, drive and a high attention to detail
Be experienced in dealing with sizeable and complex clients
Have strong people and communication skills
