ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Our client is a highly regarded and well-established mid-tier firm based in the CBD, known for its outstanding reputation, supportive work environment, and innovative business solutions. The firm offers a diverse range of services, including Taxation, Business Advisory, Insolvency, Forensics, and Wealth Management, catering to HNW individuals, SMEs, and multinational clients.
As part of their continued growth, the firm is seeking to expand their team and is looking for an experienced Tax & Business Services Accountant interested in transitioning into Forensic Accounting.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Full training in Forensic Accounting is provided!
Duties include but not limited to:
- Analyse financial data to accurately determine economic loss, supporting settlement decision-making processes.
- Compile and summarize pertinent information into detailed reports for internal and external use.
- Examine income tax returns and financial statements to extract insights and validate findings.
- Prepare financial evidence and justifications to support calculations in legal proceedings.
- Engage effectively with external stakeholders, including clients, legal representatives, and other professionals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, common law precedents, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and accuracy.
TO BE CONSIDERED:
You will ideally be CA or CPA qualified (or near completion) with 1-4 years of experience in tax and business services accounting. If you are seeking a new and exciting direction in your career, this could be the perfect opportunity to transition into Forensic Accounting.
